It goes without saying that Wilson Combat makes the finest 1911 magazines out there, so to replace the badly rusted factory Kimber magazine. I chose none other than Wilson Combat. See Wilson Combat Magazines
The question being: What Wilson Combat magazine do I need for my Kimber Ultra and Compact Models?
For the Kimber Ultra and Compact’s; which use a 7-round magazine; Wilson Combat has three different magazines available. The Wilson Combat 47,OX; the Wilson Combat 47,OXC; and the Wilson Combat 47,OXCB. All of which use Wilson Combat’s self-lubricating nylon follower.
The Wilson Combat 47,OX is the 7 round, .45ACP stainless steel compact magazine with the standard base plate.
The Wilson Combat 47,OXC is the 7 round, .45ACP stainless steel compact magazine with the low profile base plate.
The Wilson Combat 47,OXCB is the 7 round, .45ACP stainless steel compact magazine with the low profile base plate but black.
In my scenario, I wanted the low profile footplate to “match” the Kimber factory magazine, and shiny stainless steel, so I purchased the Wilson Combat 47,OXC.

this is incorrect. The oxcb is the same as the oxc except black. They both have the low profile base plate. You can even see it in the photo that you have there.
